Quick selection of photos from 2 days of unusual hurricane surf. We rarely get tropical storms in this parts, usually it is northwest swells, sometimes west. The last comparable one was recorded in 1851! Lorenzo was southwest/west, that is why it didn´t hit Nazare right. Down here was fantastic though, wedges, reefs and pointbreaks working all along the warm shining south coast of the Algarve.

It´s been an amazing start of the surfing season in the North Atlantic. I have been surfing a lot and it´s only early october!
