Drove to Cordoama to shoot Gony Zubizarreta. It was his last day here and the waves were pumping. Took a few from top then… bang! Dropped my Nikon D800 to the ground. Kaput. I think the mount is f+cked, the images come out blurred. I am selling it for parts.

Please help me to get another camera and do what I love again. You can buy me some prints (send me an email) or donate some money here:
A bit congested and not feeling that good, scored this rare bird yesterday. I wasn´t impressed, but the swell direction wasnt the best. Fishermen call it Sequeador, not Esquiador, thanks for the correction Nicolau!
They say Carwin Williams was the first to surf it, about 25 years ago. It´s got good fish and perceves. Went for a swim to try to get some water footage, but just got smashed. At least it helped my blocked nose.

It´s always nice to see your photos on paper, either it´s on a wall or on a magazine. Thanks Surf Session for somehow surviving this new times and Lee Ann for turning up!

The second slideshow of Por Detrás das Lentes at Kisa Real Italian Food was from photographer João Cabrita. Another sucess with lots of visitors in a laid back atmosphere in the center of Lagos, Algarve.
Next one will be friday 28th of April at 7H. Don´t miss the street photography of my mate André Silva.
I don´t eat pizza´s or pasta, but the anti pasta is yummi!
I shoot events too. It´s not because of the money, I like people. This time I did this photos for my friend João Luis Soares 50th birthday. It was a fantastic soiré with lots of smiles, here are some of the pics I took, check it out:
Finally met Veronique from Casa Mae Lagos. It was a long day. I went to Carrapateira to harvest some perceves in the morning then shot Marlon Lipke surfing the biggest sueste in decades. Even stoped by Kisa to watch Joao Cabrita show!

Happy to be the first surf photographer invited at this event hosted at Kisa real italian food in Lagos. Great to work with Marco Perini and Chiara to put this together. The best surf photographers will be presenting their work here every week or so.
Hope the next one will have a webcast with live streaming!
